Bill Foran

Bill Foran is internationally recognized as one of the leading authorities in strength and conditioning and sports performance training. Bill has been the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Miami Heat for the last 29 seasons, making him the longest tenured strength and conditioning coach in NBA history.

Prior to his tenure with the Heat, Bill was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the University of Miami, where he prepared the football team to win the National Championship in 1987 and 1989*. Before coming to Miami, he was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Washington State University.The football team made their first bowl appearance in 50 years.

Bill graduated with a master's degree in exercise physiology from Michigan State University. He is the main author of 4 books and is the sole editor of "High Performance Sports Conditioning." Bill is an internationally recognized speaker and has worked with professional athletes in many sports including basketball, football, baseball, tennis, and golf.

Eric Foran MS, CSCS

Eric Foran joined the Miami Heat Strength and Conditioning staff in 2012. In addition to working with the Miami Heat throughout the season, he has served as the Miami Heat Summer League Strength and Conditioning Coach each of the last three years. Eric has also trained athletes in several sports including football, baseball, soccer, track and field, and golf and is a strength and conditioning advisor to the Seal Training Academy:

Eric graduated with a master's degree in applied physiology and kinesiology with a focus on human performance from the University of Florida. He was All-SEC and National qualifier as a pole vaulter on the Gator track and field team which won two National Championships during his career. As a student- athlete at the University of Florida, Eric earned Academic All- American status by achieving at a high level both athletically and academically. In high school, Eric was an All-American track and field athlete as well as a State Champion in Florida.
